  • How long will it take to build my home?

    Typically, we forecast 5-1/2 to 6 months from the time construction begins to build your home. However; there are variables that may impact this schedule, such as weather, labor and material supplies. Our first priority is to complete your home to our standards before closing so that you and your family can begin to enjoy your home from the first day you move in.

  • If I have a home to sell, will Spring Creek allow me to purchase a home contingent upon the sale and closing of my current residence?

    Yes, Spring Creek does accept contingency sales. There are several reasonable stipulations that apply to a contingency sale. Please check with your sales person for specifics about the home and community in which you are interested. (back to top)

  • When I'm in your model homes, is everything I see a standard feature??

    With a few exceptions, what you see in a Spring Creek Model will be standard features and included in the sales price. Because we want buyers to understand and appreciate the many functional SmartDifferences standard in every Spring Creek Home we have minimized the upgrades in our models to only the flooring and a few select decorator treatments. Ask the sales representative in each community for specific information about each model.

  • Is it possible to install window coverings while my home is being built and include this in the mortgage?

    Yes, we allow buyers to install window coverings during construction and include them in their mortgage. Window coverings will need to be decided upon during the interior selection process. In all cases it is important that delays to the construction of the home are avoided.

  • How can I find a good reputable mortgage company and are there differences from one mortgage company and another?

    The best source is a personal referral from a friend or a referral from your Spring Creek Community Sales Manager. An informed buyer realizes that a lower interest rate should not be the only determining factor. Lender closing costs and fees are also a critical area for review. The companies referred by Spring Creek have a history of providing excellent service to Spring Creek buyers.

  • How much are the Taxes and are there Home Owners Association (HOA) Dues for the community I'm interested in?

    Taxes and HOA dues may vary significantly from community to community. Please refer to the individual community information on this web site for this information. Check out Spring Creek's large lot communities which have substantially lower tax rates due to the fact that they are not located in a Municipal Utility District.

  • How does Spring Creek Homes compare with most other Builders, and why are the prices higher?

    Spring Creek has spent three decades identifying the style and features that buyers desire in their new home and include them as standard.   • It's really important to me that my house reflects my individual style, what types of interior finishes and upgrades do you offer?

    Do you offer the services of a professional interior designer to coordinate my interior selections? In October of 1998 Spring Creek opened their Design Center, which includes a vast array of interior finishes, fabrics and window treatments for our buyers. The Spring Creek Design Center offers the convenience of one-stop shopping aimed at high customer satisfaction.   • Three questions you should ask when buying a new home!!!

    Do you have a list of buyers in the community that I could contact and ask about their home building experience as well the warranty service?
    This is important so that you get real facts from actual home buyers.
    What is the average tenure of both the Sales and Construction personnel?
    These are the people that will coordinate all the critical activities during the construction of your home-experience makes a huge difference!
    Tell me about your systems, do you have literature that outlines what I can expect during the course of building my home?
    Professional organizations must have systems in order to deliver products in a consistent manner-you should know what to expect.
